Experience of Indonesian Working Mothers during Covid-19 Pandemic

Indonesia is in a state of emergency related to the Covid-19 pandemic which has brought major disruptions social and economic aspects, including family. When schools daycare facilities are closed due Covid-19, working mothers faced professional problems balancing work family duties. This research aims understand motherhood experience Indonesian pandemic. The study was conducted collect in-depth interview data with semi-structured scale on six various fields. results showed that strain escalates during Working finding it challenging divide their time energy between employment childcare. They felt guilty for children because they prioritized rather than parenting. also burnout form physical emotional exhaustion obligations child caretaking. mothers’ turbulence may lead maltreatment. However, some reported dynamic can be resolved good support system, particularly from husband.
